Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom

In an open and constructive atmosphere, both sides expressed satisfaction with the pace of development of bilateral relations, as well as their readiness to further enhance them.

Special attention was devoted to exploring opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the economy, energy, infrastructure projects, defense, and innovation in modern technologies.

The interlocutors agreed that preserving peace and stability in the region is a key precondition for more comprehensive cooperation. In this context, State Secretary Jovanović reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to the principles of good neighborliness, dialogue, and joint efforts to build trust and understanding, while Ambassador Ferguson emphasized the constructive contribution of Serbia to the stabilization of circumstances in the Western Balkans.
