Jović confers with the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to Serbia

The interlocutors discussed key issues in the relations between Serbia and Malta, particularly in the context of the upcoming bilateral activities between the two countries.

Special attention was devoted to cooperation in the fields of culture, education, and healthcare, as well as to the further strengthening of economic and political ties. The talks also touched upon Serbia’s European integration process, and views were exchanged on current regional and global developments.

State Secretary Jović informed his counterpart about the difficult situation of the Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija, who continue to face systematic pressure and violations of their fundamental human rights on a daily basis.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further advancing the overall relations between the two countries.

State Secretary Jović extended an invitation to the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta, Dr. Ian Borg, to visit Serbia.
