Kozarev confers with Vice President of Embraer and Representative of the Embassy of Brazil
The discussions focused on the potential for cooperation in the field of the aerospace industry, bearing in mind Embraer’s global standing as one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, as well as Serbia’s interest in developing advanced, efficient, and sustainable transport and industrial solutions.
Kozarev emphasized that the approach of President Vučić and the Government of Serbia is directed toward creating added value through partnerships, knowledge transfer, and the development of domestic capacities.
Opportunities were also explored for the exchange of expert knowledge, technological cooperation, and stronger linkages with Serbia’s and the broader regional business community.
Embraer’s system encompasses a network of approximately 5,000 partner companies across sixty-two countries, 20,000 employees at its headquarters, and business results exceeding USD 10 billion in capital and USD 5 billion in annual revenue. It was noted that it would be of particular importance for the Serbian economy to be included in the further development plans of Embraer’s global network, especially in light of the close ties between the two countries and their favorable trade positions with the European Union and beyond.
It was assessed that the doors are open for closer cooperation in both civil and military aviation, through intensified dialogue at the appropriate levels.
