Minister Dacic with the foreign ministers of Austria, Israel, Hungary and the Russian Federation

On the margins of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council in Skopje, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had short bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of the OSCE participating States.

In addition to discussing bilateral issues, Minister Dacic exchanged views with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the challenges and problems currently facing the OSCE as an organization, as well as on the possibilities for overcoming them, so that this organization could continue functioning.

In a friendly conversation, the Serbian Foreign Minister and Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg discussed the European integration of Serbia, the current situation in the region, as topics of common interest.

In a conversation with Peter Szijjarto, the Foreign Minister of neighbouring Hungary, Minister Dacic exchanged views on upcoming joint activities, but also on the situation in the OSCE and the possibilities for adopting decisions that would enable the continuation of the functioning of this organization that brings together 57 countries.

On the fringes of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Minister Dacic also had the opportunity to meet briefly with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Eli Cohen.
