Minister Dacic meets with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from the new Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Joseph Kalala Mulamba.

Wishing Ambassador Joseph Kalala Mulamba a warm welcome, the Head of Serbian diplomacy recalled the long history of relations, traditional friendship and good cooperation between the two countries in numerous fields.

Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo conveyed to Minister Dacic the regards from his counterpart Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Christophe Lutundula Apala, and noted that the two countries held close positions on many issues, including respect for territorial integrity. Ambassador Mulamba expressed readiness to contribute to the enhancement of cooperation in a series of different fields through active efforts.

While expressing gratitude to the Democratic Republic of the Congo for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, the Serbian side pointed out its interest in promoting cooperation with the Democratic Republic of the Congo in all areas, above all, in the economy.
