Minister Selaković and President Cvijanović on the continued intensification of cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, met with the President of the Republic of Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanović in Belgrade today.

Selaković and Cvijanović discussed the current political situation in the region, as well as the current geopolitical situation and its potential consequences.

During their discussion, they jointly agreed that the preservation of peace and regional stability, as well as stronger economic integration of the Western Balkans is in the interest of both Serbia and the Republika Srpska.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the fact that the relations between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska are constantly developing and that there is a high level of cooperation in all areas.

Minister Selaković highlighted that Serbia will continue to support the implementation of joint infrastructure and development projects, as it has done so far, but will also continue to provide assistance to municipalities in the Republic of Srpska, as well as municipalities outside of the Republic of Srpska with larger Serb populations, such as Bosansko Grahovo, Bosanski Petrovac, Drvar and Glamoč.
