Political Consultations with the Kingdom of the Netherlands

26. Sep 2025.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands held political consultations in The Hague, led by Acting Assistant Minister for Bilateral Cooperation Tamara Rastovac Siamashvili and Director-General for European Affairs Heelen Bakker. Assistant Minister for European Integration Miroslav Gačević also took part in the consultations.

It was noted that the established practice of holding consultations once a year provides a solid framework for exchanging views on a wide range of issues.

The participants expressed satisfaction with the ongoing political dialogue, which has been significantly enhanced by this year’s visits to The Hague by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić.

The consultations resulted in concrete steps to advance cooperation in the fields of cyber security and migration.

Discussions also covered Serbia’s EU integration process, with an emphasis on the importance of support and constructive engagement to further Serbia’s progress.

Views were also exchanged on the situation in the region and other important international matters.
