Selaković: Serbia makes decisions independently and answers to its citizens

23. Jun 2021.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Selaković, stated today that it is unacceptable for Croatia, which was the flagship of the Nazi world in the Second World War, to lecture the state of Serbia today about what it should do and what values it should accept.

"They teach us lessons about genocide, they tell us what we should do, they take it upon themselves to dig new pits for us today, this time political ones, to push us and put us in them. We will not accept that", Selaković said regarding the statement of the Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman that Serbia should recognize the genocide in Srebrenica, in order to strengthen good neighborly relations.

Selaković added that we are forced to listen to stories about genocide every day from those who do not want to mention J from Jasenovac, who were the creators of genocide in the Balkans.

Minister Selaković pointed out that Serbia is a sovereign and independent state that makes decisions independently and that it will answer only to its people and its citizens.
