State Secretary Jovanović at the MED9++ Ministerial Meeting

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović participated today in an informal ministerial meeting held via video conference, dedicated to issues of food security and access to fertilizers in the context of the current situation in the Middle East.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Mediterranean member states of the European Union (MED9), candidates and aspirants from the Western Balkans, as well as member states of the Arab League.
The meeting was hosted by Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, and Gordan Grlić Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, which currently holds the presidency of MED9.
Participants were also addressed in the introductory part of the meeting by Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
