State Secretary Nevena Jovanović confers with UNDP Resident Representative in Serbia Yakup Beris

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador Nevena Jovanović, met today with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Serbia, Mr. Yakup Beris, to exchange views on ongoing cooperation and prospects for future joint initiatives.
State Secretary Jovanović emphasized the importance that the Republic of Serbia attaches to its cooperation with UNDP, expressing satisfaction with the successful and continuous nature of the partnership.
She particularly underlined the importance of upholding the principles of international law and maintaining status neutrality regarding the so-called Kosovo in the context of all UNDP-supported projects and initiatives, in full adherence to United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.
Both sides affirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation and implement joint activities in the upcoming period.
