Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the evacuation of a Serbian citizen with her four children from the Gaza Strip

With the direct support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and primarily the embassies of the Republic of Serbia in Tel Aviv and Cairo, in coordination with the competent authorities of the State of Israel and the Arab Republic of Egypt, during the past weekend, Angelina El Kourm Arafat, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, was evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Egypt, with her four children.
In accordance with the valid procedures, and within the 72-hour deadline, Angelina El Kourm Arafat left the territory of Egypt with her children and arrived safely in Serbia on the regular morning flight of Air Serbia.
Angelina El Kourm Arafat thanked the Ministry for the support and assistance provided, so that she and the children could safely leave the Gaza Strip and arrive in Serbia.
