Tamara Vučić confers with the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Serbia
Vučić, met with the Ambassador of Japan to Serbia, H.E. Akira Imamura, to discuss her recent
visit to Japan, which she undertook together with the President of the Republic of Serbia.
Tamara Vučić expressed her gratitude to the Japanese side for their warm hospitality and exchanged impressions with the Ambassador about this brief but highly productive visit.
Vučić emphasized the particular importance of visiting the Japan and Serbia pavilions at EXPO during their stay in Japan, as well as of the meetings held with Mrs. Yoshiko Ishiba, wife of the Prime Minister of Japan, and with representatives of the Center for Early Childhood Development, Education and Policy Research (CEDEP) at the University of Tokyo.
Special attention was devoted to the upcoming Ethnology Festival, where young people will have the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with Japanese culture, with a special focus on the country’s rich tradition.
Both sides agreed that there is ample potential for the further enhancement of bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of culture and science.
