Đurić and Kapetanović Discuss Regional Cooperation

On the margins of the Munich Security Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met with the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council, Amer Kapetanović.

Đurić conveyed that Serbia sees significant potential in the work of the RCC for strengthening regional ties, bearing in mind that regional cooperation remains one of Serbia’s key foreign policy priorities.

Noting that the RCC facilitates cooperation across a broad range of areas — from economic development to security — Đurić underscored the importance of further enhancing the role of the organization.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss concrete steps for the upcoming period and to identify common priorities that could shape future cooperation, particularly in terms of a coordinated regional approach within the EU accession process.
