Đurić confers with the Director for Europe at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom
The discussions focused on the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, the current situation in the Western Balkans, as well as Serbia’s forthcoming participation in the Berlin Process Summit in London on 22 October and the meeting of foreign ministers within the Berlin Process, to be held on 8–9 October in Belfast. In this context, particular attention was devoted to preparations for the key topics of the Summit, including enhanced cooperation with regional partners in the field of combating illegal migration.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current dynamics of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their readiness to further advance it, including through the intensification of strategic dialogue.
It was underlined that the preservation of peace and stability in the region remains a necessary precondition for establishing broader cooperation in the Western Balkans. Minister Đurić reiterated Serbia’s enduring commitment to the principles of good-neighbourly relations and to working jointly on strengthening and building trust.
