Đurić confers with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili
The head of Serbian diplomacy emphasized that Serbia is proud that relations between the two countries are founded on friendship, mutual understanding, and support on the international political stage, underscoring Serbia’s sincere commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across all fields. He noted that this commitment is also reflected in the ongoing process of opening the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Georgia.
Minister Đurić expressed particular gratitude to Georgia for its firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, stressing that Serbia, in turn, unequivocally supports Georgia on this issue.
The interlocutors discussed opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of modern technologies, innovation, and tourism.
With regard to advancing economic cooperation, Minister Đurić underlined the high expectations Serbia places on the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, whose session is scheduled to be held in Belgrade in December.
Minister Đurić and Minister Bochorishvili also exchanged views on geopolitical issues and current developments on the international scene.
