Francophonie flag hoisted in front of the MFA

On the occasion of marking the International Francophonie Day, the Francophonie flag was hoisted on the pole in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.
The International Organisation of La Francophonie has 88 members brought together by the use and fostering of the French language, and it has an important role in promoting peace, democracy, human rights, solidarity and sustainable development.
At the 17th Francophonie Summit in 2018 in Yerevan, the Republic of Serbia became an associate member of this international organisation, and it is striving to get the full member status at one of the next Summits.
