Friendly relations between Serbia and Cameroon, a great space for improving cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, met today, on the sidelines of the gathering marking the 60th anniversary of the Belgrade Conference of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cameroon, Lejeune Mbella Mbella.

Selaković stated that the bilateral relations between the two countries are friendly and without open issues, saying that it shall be necessary to make additional efforts in the direction of intensifying the political dialogue and economic cooperation.

As areas with great potential for the development of cooperation, he singled out agriculture, digitalization, IT, education, youth, sports, and culture.

The head of Serbian diplomacy informed his interlocutor about the “World in Serbia” scholarship program and invited Cameroon to make use of the increased number of scholarships for their students to study in our country.

On this occasion, Minister Selaković thanked Cameroon for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
