Selaković and Maliki on the possibilities for improving cooperation between Serbia and Palestine

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Riyad al-Maliki.

Selaković expressed his appreciation of the fact that Minister Maliki is participating in a meeting in Belgrade on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement and gratitude for the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest with him again after a recent brief meeting in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

The head of Serbian diplomacy stated that there is a lot of room for improving economic and other types of cooperation, and expressed the expectation that the good will that exists on both sides will be concretized through bilateral political consultations between the two ministries and the establishment of a Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation.

Selaković informed his interlocutor about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the course of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and thanked Palestine for its consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
