Selaković: Positive trend in the development of relations between Serbia and Saint Lucia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, talked today on the phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and the Diaspora of Saint Lucia, Alva Romanus Baptiste..

Selaković expressed satisfaction with the positive trend in the development of relations between the two countries, recalling that they were formally established in November 2019, and after our decision to raise the level of representation, by which Ambassador Marko Đurić was appointed the first non-resident ambassador of Serbia to Saint Lucia, based in Washington.

Minister Selaković said that our country is interested in further improving the high-level political dialogue, as well as in establishing a more regular exchange of views on all bilateral and international topics, and on this occasion, he invited Minister Baptiste to visit Serbia.

The interlocutors also referred to the fight between the two countries against the corona virus, and Selaković expressed the full support and solidarity of Serbia with Saint Lucia and expressed our readiness to, within the limits of our possibilities, provide concrete assistance to the people of Saint Lucia.
