Selaković welcomed the President of Ghana

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, welcomed the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, at the Belgrade "Nikola Tesla" airport, who arrived to visit Serbia.

Welcoming him to the "birthplace of the Non-Aligned Movement", Selaković thanked the President of Ghana that the delegation of that friendly country will be represented at the highest level at the upcoming gathering to mark the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Minister Selaković welcomed the President of Ghana with the red carpet, the Guard of the Serbian Army and the traditional Serbian bread and salt.

Among the participants in the First Conference in Belgrade in 1961 was the first president of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, who, together with Tito, Nehru, Nasser and Soekarno, was part of the five creators of the Non-Aligned Movement. The Ghanaian delegation, as a guest at the commemorative meeting, also includes the daughter of the former President Nkrumah.
