Political relations
The political relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria are traditionally good and friendly.
Former President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić awarded President Muhammadu Buhari with the Order of the Republic of Serbia for merits in developing and strengthening peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Nigeria in 2025 amounted to €96.2 million, of which €16.2 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €80 million to imports.
