04. Jun 2021.
Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Japan, Ivana Golubović Duboka, visited the exhibition of photographs "Miracle of Saint Sava" by Akiko Koga, which is displayed in the "Steps Gallery", which traditionally organizes solo and group exhibitions of artists from Serbia.

On that occasion, Golubović Duboka talked with the owner of the gallery Masami Yoshioka and the author of the exhibition, Koga, about potential art projects.

The exhibition "Miracle of Saint Sava" shows a sentimental journey recorded through the lens of the author Koga and is an homage to the renowned Serbian painter Milan Tucović, who had a large number of admirers in Japan.

Since 2009, the artist Akiko Koga has been dedicated to the promotion of Serbian art in Japan, as well as activities in the cultural exchange of Japan and Serbia, through the organization of exhibitions of Serbian artists, as well as guest appearances by Japanese artists in Belgrade.

After the outbreak of the pandemic, the artist Koga launched a project called "New project for a new life" by opening a website and a YouTube channel, aimed at promoting Serbian culture, the content of which can be seen by accessing the link My Serbia: http://myserbia.jp
