Relations between Serbia and France are excellent, Dačić and Mondoloni agreed

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, spoke today with the director of the Directorate for Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, Frédéric Mondoloni.

In a cordial discussion, the head of Serbian diplomacy stated that the bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent and that they are constantly on the upward path, and that political consultations between the two ministries scheduled to take place on December 16 this year are significant for those relations. He underlined the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries for the further improvement of the overall bilateral relations.

The director of the Directorate for Continental Europe of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, Frédéric Mondoloni, confirmed that bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent and highlighted the most significant investments and projects of French companies in Serbia - the Belgrade Metro project, the concession of Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade by the French company Vinci Airports, a project to build a facility for the processing of municipal waste and heat and electricity production in Vinča and others.

The two officials exchanged opinions on the future dynamics of the political dialogue between the two countries, cooperation between Serbia and France in the fields of economy and culture, the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as current international issues. They also expressed willingness to continue cooperation and to work to further strengthen good relations between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest, aimed at utilising all available potentials.
