Starović and Fragogiannis on the improvement of economic cooperation between Serbia and Greece

State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nemanja Starović, met with Kostas Fragogiannis, the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of economic diplomacy.

The interlocutors stated that this visit, which followed only a few days after the official visit of Minister Selaković to Athens, is another confirmation of excellent bilateral relations.

Starović and Fragogiannis discussed the situation in the region, expressing commitment to regional stability and cooperation, especially through the improvement of economic relations and infrastructure and energy connectivity.

In that context, State Secretary Starović emphasized the importance of the "Open Balkans" initiative, with which, as he pointed out, Serbia, Northern Macedonia and Albania want to build the economic perspective of the region and which is open to all partners from the Western Balkans.

Also, preparations for the Fourth Meeting of the High Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Greece in Belgrade were discussed at the meeting.

Also, Deputy Minister Kostas Fragogiannis met with Acting Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy, Miroslav Knežević, with whom he discussed the improvement and diversification of bilateral economic cooperation, as well as increasing Greek investments in our country.
