TANJUG - Dačić: Xhaçka is encouraging further provocations by Kurti

28. Dec 2022.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania Olta Xhaçka has given a public statement of support to Albin Kurti’s criminal regime, outrageously accusing Serbia of sabre-rattling, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić to Tanjug.

“She has not said a single word to warn Kurti that he has an international obligation to implement the Brussels Agreement, Resolution 1244 and all other relevant documents, obligation to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities, or that he is not allowed to send armed Albanian units to the North and arrest Serbs just for being Serbs”, stated Minister Dačić.

He emphasised that the barricades were a form of peaceful resistance against Albin Kurti’s terror against the Serbian people.

“Instead of warning him that he should not endanger the peace and stability in the region, the Albanian Minister is even encouraging his further provocations. This is why she and the entire international community bear a heavy responsibility for everything that is happening and may yet happen in Kosovo. Serbia, led by President Aleksandar Vučić, will do anything for peace, but will also do everything to protect the Serbian people from terror and pogrom”, stated Minister Dačić.

Minister Xhaçka had previously posted on Facebook that she was “deeply concerned” about the barricades in the North of Kosovo and Metohija, and accused the authorities of Serbia of, in her words, “justifying the barricades and the criminal groups who are refusing to remove them”.
