Selaković: Serbia is winning again today, as it was 100 years ago

The head of Serbian diplomacy, as a guest on "Pink" television, emphasized that our homeland was the Piedmont of freedom and libertarian values ​​a century ago, and that today it is the Piedmont of economic renewal.

"Serbia is winning again today, as it was 100 years ago, as it was 76 years ago, as it was in the 19th century, when we returned to the political map of the world and Europe after five centuries. Serbia is at the forefront of its economic and social development in every area. As we build and work more and more, we come to a situation where we lack manpower. Today, Serbia is the one that is winning again", said Minister Selaković.

According to him, it is important to talk about this, just as it is important to cultivate a culture of remembrance.

"We are winners by the fact that we still exist. There have been several attempts in the past 100 years to make us disappear. Armistice Day for me is Victory Day as I am convinced it is Victory Day for everyone. That is something we have to remember", Selaković said.

Minister Selaković emphasized the importance of the culture of remembrance, because it is an integral part of the spiritual renewal of our people.

"We are renewing ourselves economically and in all areas of society, health, education, sports, but spiritual renewal is very important, it is important to know who we are and what our values ​​are. The Serbia which resurrects its victorious spirit and effectively wins in many fields thanks to serious leadership, such a Serbia does not suit many and some want a losing Serbia", said Minister Selaković.

According to him, today, the Serbia that started winning again, such a Serbia bothers many in the region and on the international political scene, because our interests do not coincide with some other interests.

"Then they aim at the one who is the main initiator of that victorious Serbia, when they cannot defeat him in reducing public debt and unemployment, and in increasing GDP", said Minister Selaković on the occasion of the attack on the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

According to him, other countries would fight over Vučić to have him at the head of the state, to demonstrate how the state should be run.

Regarding the media attacks from some surrounding countries, Minister Selaković stated that this is a serious organized campaign, where only Vučić is targeted and attacked because of his results, and that there is no scruple in that, because the family of the President of Serbia is also being attacked.

"You come to the field of thin nerves, when everyone tries to provoke you with attacks on President Vučić, psychoanalysis of personality and other horrors that individuals deal with, but it is important to keep a cool head", said Minister Selaković.
